An equestrian since the age of ten, Julie began formally instructing horsemanship and riding in early 2008. Passionate to share her love for the sport and lifestyle, she has instructed hundreds of children and adults alike. A two time back to back reserve champion of the Sierra Empire Arabian Horse shows and earning a variety of wins with ETI corral 35, Julie also managed two equine rehabilitation therapy farms in the Bradbury estates in addition to working for trainers Richard Mandella, Steve Ferraro, Wayne Murty, Cotton Tinsley, Jay Robbins and Vincent Clyne at Santa Anita, Hollywood, and Del Mar.
Julie approaches instruction with a "from the ground up" perspective. Noting that grooming and the care of the animal helps build a bond between horse and rider, she truly emphasizes the importance of learning to fully embrace every aspect of the sport. She hones in on each rider's goals, no matter their past experience, to help them achieve the success they want in the saddle.
