The Mission

Arroyo Canyon Riders was founded to deliver affordable, fun, safe, and practical education to riders of all ages and riding experiences. While studies prove that the harmony between horse and human elevate mood, reduces stress, improves physical health, and more - we recognize that the equine experience is meant to be an enjoyable and rewarding one. We work with riders and our four-legged friends to learn skills in and out of the saddle that embodies true equestrianism.  Arroyo Canyon Riders proudly offers lessons and camps in the disciplines of Western and Hunt Seat riding.

MISSION

what people say

The instructor, Julie, not only focused on the basics of riding, but horsemanship.  The kids did everything from grooming horses to mucking out the horse trailer - all the little things that come with horse ownership.  They also learned how to bond with the horses.

My daughter did 3 weeks of camp.  Each week, she was assigned a different horse, giving her a change to really learn to communicate and bond with the different animals.

I now have a young horsewoman who is anxious to continue learning.
